ManyChat alternatives for Indian creators
ManyChat is a full chat-automation platform — flows across Instagram, WhatsApp, Messenger and more — priced in dollars by active contacts. Indian creators who mainly need Instagram comment-to-DM have simpler options: LinkDM and Manytalks have free plans counted in DMs, InstantDM has flat plans, and Pullsy Store includes auto-DM in its ₹1,299-a-month Store plan.

ManyChat is the tool most creators hear of first, and for good reason. It builds multi-step conversations rather than single replies, it runs across Instagram, WhatsApp, Messenger, TikTok, Telegram, email and SMS, and it describes itself as an Official Meta Business Partner. If you want a DM to ask a question, branch on the answer and hand off to WhatsApp, it is built for exactly that.
Most Indian creators asking for an alternative want something narrower: someone comments GUIDE, they get the link. For that job ManyChat's model can feel heavy. It is priced in dollars and by active contacts — its Free plan covered 25 contacts a month and four automations when we checked — so a single post that takes off moves you up a tier.
Every tool below runs on the same Meta API, so they all share Meta's limits: one private reply per comment, within seven days, and at most 750 private replies an hour per account. Instagram DM automation limits has the rules and the links. What differs is what each tool charges and counts.
The alternatives, one by one 🔍
LinkDM
Comment-to-DM free, at small volume
A free plan for one Instagram account and up to 1,000 DMs a month; Pro is $19 a month for up to three accounts and 25,000 DMs. It says it is a certified Meta Business Partner. Instagram only, which is the point.
InstantDM
Flat plans and a high hourly rate
No free plan on its pricing page, but a 7-day free trial. Legend Pro is $12 a month, or $9.99 a month billed yearly, and its page lists unlimited automations at up to 750 DMs an hour — Meta's own ceiling. It says it is a Meta Business Partner.
Manytalks (formerly Zorcha)
Another free plan counted in DMs
Formerly Zorcha, now branded Manytalks. A free plan with 1,000 DMs a month and its branding on them, and paid plans in dollars on its pricing page. It says every plan uses the official Meta API.
Pullsy Store
A link-in-bio storefront with comment-to-DM included
Not a free auto-DM tool: auto-DM is part of Pullsy Store's Store plan, ₹1,299 a month per storefront in rupees, with a 14-day trial on your first storefront. What you get with it is the page the DM points at — free downloads, email sign-ups and webinar registrations — and up to 100 DMs an hour per account, with comments past that queued rather than dropped. No flows, no WhatsApp, no broadcasts; storefronts take no payments yet.

What moving actually involves 📦
- List every live ManyChat automation — the post, the keyword and the message — before you switch anything off.
- Run one tool per Instagram account at a time. Two tools answering the same comment send everyone two DMs, and both spend the same 750-an-hour allowance Meta gives the account.
- Disconnect ManyChat from the Instagram account, in ManyChat and in Instagram's settings under apps and websites, before connecting the new tool.
- Keep a copy of the contacts and emails ManyChat collected, using its own export, if you will need them later.
- Rebuild each keyword rule and test it from a second account with a real comment. Comments older than seven days cannot be answered by any tool.

Is there a free ManyChat alternative for Instagram comment-to-DM?
Yes. When we checked on 1 October 2026, LinkDM's free plan covered one Instagram account and 1,000 DMs a month, and Manytalks (formerly Zorcha) offered 1,000 DMs a month with its branding. Pullsy Store's auto-DM is not free: it comes with the paid Store plan.

ManyChat's pricing page, read on 1 October 2026 from outside India, listed a Free plan for 25 active contacts a month, Essential at $14 a month and Pro at $29 a month, both billed annually. Prices for India were not shown, so check its page in rupees before deciding.
What does ManyChat do better than simpler auto-DM tools?
Multi-step flows and channels. ManyChat can branch a conversation on answers, collect details inside the chat and continue on WhatsApp, Messenger, email or SMS. Comment-to-DM tools send a reply with a link and stop there.
Are ManyChat alternatives allowed by Instagram?
