The best platforms to sell courses online in India
For Indian course creators in 2026, Graphy has the strongest course delivery, TagMango the strongest cohorts, Exly the strongest scheduling, and Teachable the best zero-commission economics in dollars. Pullsy Store is the cheapest flat-fee option at ₹799 a month with no cut of a sale.
Updated 21 September 2026
Almost every list like this one ranks by feature count, which is how you end up recommending a ₹99,999-a-year platform to somebody selling their first ₹499 course.
The variable that decides this is what the platform takes of a sale, and how that interacts with how much you sell. A 10% commission is cheap at ₹5,000 a month and ruinous at ₹5,00,000. A ₹99,999 annual fee is the reverse.
So the list below is ordered by who each platform is for, and every price on it was read off the vendor's own pricing page on 21 September 2026.
How this list was put together 🔬
- Pricing was read from each platform's own pricing page, not from a comparison site, on 21 September 2026. Every figure links back to its source.
- Platforms are ordered by the situation they fit, not by which one we would like you to choose. We are not first in our own list.
- Cost means subscription plus platform commission. Payment gateway charges are excluded throughout, because they depend on the merchant account rather than the platform.
- Feature claims are limited to what each vendor publishes. Nothing here is copied from a competitor's own comparison page.
The list 🏆
Graphy
Structured courses with quizzes and certificates
The most complete classroom in the Indian market — modules, drip, assessments, certificates and a learner app. It charges twice: ₹24,999 a year and 10% per sale on Launch, up to ₹99,999 a year and 5% on Rise. Worth it when the certificate is part of what people are buying.
TagMango
Live cohorts and paid communities
Batches, attendance, renewals and paid WhatsApp or Telegram groups, done properly. 10% on the free plan, 5.5% at ₹5,000 a month, 3.5% at ₹15,000, and 0% only on the ₹30,000-a-month Ultimate plan.
Exly
Coaches who sell time alongside courses
The best booking and scheduling product on this list, with courses attached rather than the other way round. Plans at 10%, 6% and 3% — the commission never reaches zero at any price Exly publishes.
Pullsy Store
Selling courses without paying a percentage
₹799 a month, 0% of every sale, and settlement to a merchant account in your own name. Drip scheduling is there; quizzes, assessments and certificates are not. In early access, which means a short queue and a store set up by hand.
Teachable
Selling the same course in dollars
Zero transaction fee from $89 a month — about ₹8,500 — and it handles US sales tax and EU VAT. The subscription is the whole cost, which is excellent economics if your students pay in dollars and poor ones if they do not.
Kajabi
A course business that is really a marketing business
Email, funnels, communities and analytics in one system, from $179 a month — around ₹17,200. Nobody on this list matches it for completeness, and nobody charges as much to start.
Gumroad
A first course, before you know anyone will buy
Nothing up front, 10% + $0.50 of each sale from your own link. The right way to find out whether the idea works, and the wrong way to run it once it does.

Worth asking before you move 🤔
Which platform is cheapest for selling courses in India?
Below about ₹8,000 of monthly sales, a free commission-based plan — TagMango's, Exly's or Gumroad's. Above it, a flat subscription with no commission costs less, and the gap grows with every sale you make.
Do I need a GST number to sell a course in India?
Usually not at first. Service providers under ₹20 lakh of annual turnover are generally exempt from GST registration in India, so a PAN and a bank account are enough to start. Worth confirming with a CA as you approach the threshold.
Can I sell a course without a registered company?
Yes. You can sell as an individual on every platform on this list. Verification typically asks for a PAN, an Aadhaar and a bank account in your own name — the same things any payment account needs.
