Teachable has been selling courses since before most of this category existed, and its course player is the part nobody complains about. Students find it, use it, and finish things in it.
Its pricing has the familiar shape. The $39 Starter plan takes 7.5% of every sale on top of the subscription. Zero commission begins on Builder, at $89 a month — about ₹8,500 before anything has sold.
For a creator earning in rupees, the subscription is the problem long before the commission is. Pullsy Store does not solve it yet: it has no course player and no checkout. It is where the free chapter, the waitlist and the Instagram DM that delivers them can live.

What Pullsy Store is today 🏪
A free link-in-bio storefront for Indian creators, at pullsy.store/@yourname. It does not take payments yet, so every product on it is free: links, free downloads such as guides, templates and presets, email sign-ups, free webinar registrations and custom-request forms. It cannot sell courses, memberships or paid communities, and it cannot book sessions.
The Free plan is ₹0 for good, with 5 products on the storefront, 5 unlisted pages and files up to 10MB. The Store plan is ₹ 1,299 a month for unlimited products and pages, files up to 100MB, storefront analytics and Instagram auto-DM, which sends your link to anyone who comments a keyword on your post. The first storefront on an account gets fourteen days of the Store plan free, with no card.
Paid checkout is planned, at 0% commission with the money going straight to your own bank. There is no date for it yet, and until it arrives, a creator who needs to be paid should use a platform that can take the payment.
Where Teachable is the better choice 🤝
- A mature, reliable course player that students rarely complain about.
- Zero transaction fee from a mid plan, which is genuinely a fair deal in dollars.
- Handles US sales tax and EU VAT for you, which matters if you sell there.
If you want to sell a course today, Teachable can and Pullsy Store cannot. If you sell to the United States or Europe, it also handles US sales tax and EU VAT for you, which is a genuinely unpleasant job to do yourself. For Indian buyers that machinery is switched off and you pay for it anyway — a reason to look at the rupee-priced course platforms too.
Pullsy Store does not take payments yet
The payment provider we built on does not yet onboard individual creators, who are most of the people this is for. Rather than open a checkout that most creators could not use, every product on a storefront is free for now.

Not in its current published pricing. The cheapest plan is Starter at $39 a month, or $29 billed annually, and it carries a 7.5% transaction fee. Zero transaction fee begins on Builder at $89 a month.
What is Teachable in rupees?
At ₹96 to the dollar, Starter is about ₹3,700 a month, Builder about ₹8,500 and Growth about ₹18,100. The rate moves, so treat these as approximations and check the current dollar price before committing.
Can I sell in rupees on Teachable?
Teachable supports multiple currencies, but the account, the payouts and the support hours are built around dollars. Selling in rupees and being paid in dollars adds a conversion in each direction and a settlement delay you do not control.
