What does Gumroad charge? 🧾
Gumroad's own pricing page lists two rates and no subscription: 10% + $0.50 on every sale made through your own profile or link, and 30% on a sale made through its Discover marketplace. There is no plan that buys either rate down.

The fifty cents is what makes small prices expensive: on a ₹199 template the fee is about a third of the sale, and on a ₹2,999 course it is about 12%.
Gumroad is the best possible way to sell your first digital product and among the worst ways to sell your thousandth. That is not a flaw in it — it is the entire design. There is nothing to pay until something sells, and the price of that is a permanent tenth of everything that ever does.
10% + $0.50 on a sale from your own link. Thirty per cent if the buyer came from Gumroad's own marketplace. The fifty cents is the part that stings on small items: on a ₹199 template it is another 25% on top of the ten.
Nothing about that gets better as you grow. A percentage takes the same share of the thousandth sale as it took of the first.

On ₹1,00,000 of sales in a month, Gumroad costs ₹ 10,000 on its cheapest plan for that volume (Any sale from your own link). That is the number to hold against any alternative you are weighing.
What Pullsy Store is today 🏪
A free link-in-bio storefront for Indian creators, at pullsy.store/@yourname. It does not take payments yet, so every product on it is free: links, free downloads such as guides, templates and presets, email sign-ups, free webinar registrations and custom-request forms. It cannot sell courses, memberships or paid communities, and it cannot book sessions.
The Free plan is ₹0 for good, with 5 products on the storefront, 5 unlisted pages and files up to 10MB. The Store plan is ₹ 1,299 a month for unlimited products and pages, files up to 100MB, storefront analytics and Instagram auto-DM, which sends your link to anyone who comments a keyword on your post. The first storefront on an account gets fourteen days of the Store plan free, with no card.
Paid checkout is planned, at 0% commission with the money going straight to your own bank. There is no date for it yet, and until it arrives, a creator who needs to be paid should use a platform that can take the payment.

Is Gumroad good for Indian creators?
It works, and payouts to Indian bank accounts are supported. The friction is currency and conversion: your buyers see dollars, you receive dollars, and Indian buyers who expect UPI meet a card checkout instead.
When should I move off Gumroad?
When its fee costs more than another checkout would. At ₹50,000 of monthly sales from your own link, Gumroad takes at least ₹5,000 plus fifty cents an order. Pullsy Store cannot take those sales yet, so today the move is to another checkout, not to this one.
